My Little Seat – CLOSED

Feeding a baby/toddler while in highchair is priceless. If any of you have tried to feed your child while on someone else lap, you can all agree that it it not fun at all. My Little Seat was created by Canadian Mom Stephanie Collins. With a 1 year old and a little one on the way and travelling often, she found herself securing her oldest onto chairs with a sarong or another type of blanket. Being a recent graduate from design school, Stephanie decided to design something that would serve the same purpose and also be fashionable.

my-little-seat1 For review I received the My Little Seat in the All My Loving pattern – pink and brown hearts. This is a really great product. It comes in it’s own little carrying case, and is only about 5 inches by 7 inches when it is all packaged up, so it is easy to keep in my diaper bag. The first time I used the My Little Seat was at a restaurant, they did have highchairs, but the highchair did not have a safety belt on it. Thankfully, I had the My Little Seat with me, and easily put it on the back of a regular chair, and strapped DD in. DD is very busy, and I found the first time she was in the seat, she was a little restless. However, I did not let this stop me from using it again and again. The next few times I have used the My Little Seat DD has been getting used to it, and doesn’t mind being strapped in so much.

I have used this on the back of almost every chair you can think of, even fold up camping chairs, and My Little Seat has fit on all of them. I did find that sometimes DD isn’t quite sitting on the chair, she is kind of suspended in midair, but it keeps her stable, and it makes it so much easier to feed her. Everyone agrees that the My Little Seat is a great idea and are all surprised to see how easily it works, and how small it is to carry around.

My Little Seat fits very secure onto the back of chairs, and has clips, straps and everything else tied around it to make sure your child is safe while sitting in the seat. There is no way DD can get out of the seat on her own. She is very secure and I feel safe with her in there.

My Little Seat is great for traveling and visiting, it’s small, compact and serves a very important function – making feeding time a lot easier. This is a great product to have on hand at all times because you never know when you are going to be somewhere that doesn’t have a highchair. I could have used this on our last trip to my relatives house in Ontario.
