Matilda Jane Clothing – Dress – CLOSED

Denise Demarchis, the designer behind Matilda Jane Clothing says herself that there are many clothing stores out there for children.  However, I have to say that Matilda Jane Clothing far exceeded any expectation that I had before I received the package in the mail.  The clothing that I received from Matilda Jane, are spectacular, adorable, and so unique.  You will not fine anything close to the amazing designs that Matilda Jane Clothing has to offer.

For review Matilda Jane Clothing sent DD a few articles. All of them are incredible!  The first item is the Fresh Yama dress.  The dress is simple, yet sophisticated, and fun all in one. DD looks incredible in this flowy dress. What I really love are the straps.  There are no buttons or snaps to keep the straps on, they are actually just a long piece of fabric that is placed through a button hole.  To keep the straps on, I just need to tie a knot.  I make sure the knots are pretty loose if they are too tight they may go straight through the button holes, but this has yet to happen.

The bright colours, and loose fit make this dress just look adorable.  The dress is in a size 12 months.  Because of the straps she will be able to wear this dress for a very long time, either as a dress or as a shirt.  Right now, I do put on a pair of pants under the dress.  In fact, the pants that I put on with this dress are the Matilda Jane Clothing opal ruffle pants.

The opal ruffle pants are just so sweet.  The pants are in a size 18 months, so they fit her a little bit long right now, but not too much.  These have a nice elastic band around the waist so they can stretch, and as she gets taller, the pants will become capris.  The best part about these delectable pants are that they are so feminine with the two rows of lace ruffles.  The compliments she DD gets while wearing this Matilda Jane Clothing outfit are incredible. Many people think she looks like a 70′s flower child, to others saying that she looks straight out of a fashion magazine.

DD also received a knot dress from Matilda Jane Clothing, this is in a size 18 months, and is too large right now.  The dress is just as sweet as the yama dress that she received, and also has the long straps which are kept into place through a button hole with a knot.  The dress also has an elastic back to keep it a little form fitting, and has a pocket.  I am looking forward for this dress to fit her.

The quality at Matilda Jane Clothing has really impressed me, and so have the unique styles.  Like I said, these products are like none other I have seen, and they really stand out.  DD looks like a million bucks in her Matilda Jane Clothing.
