Tail Wags – Helmet Cover- CLOSED

As parents, we always want to make sure that our kids are safe.  Unfortunately, children think that we are just trying to ruin their fun when we tell them to be careful, or trying to make them look stupid when we ask them to wear things like helmets and pads.  Tail Wags a Toronto, Ontario company is helping parents keep their children safe, by offering fun helmet covers.  Now your children will be asking to put their helmets on!

tail-wags2gifTail Wags makes 30 different styles of fun and hip covers for helmets.  They have princess crowns, dinosaurs,  tigers, camouflage, bunnies, frogs, lions, zebras, and this list goes on and on.  The helmet cover has an elastic along the bottom so it  will fit on nearly every type of helmet – whether for skiing, snowboarding, biking or the rink, your children will always be able to wear their Tail Wags on top of their helmet.  The Tail Wags cover will also make it easy to find your kids in a crowd.  I remember as a child my mom would look out into a sea of kids, and she would not be able to see us right away, with a bright pink and yellow princess crown on my head, she would have been able to spot me in a second and know that I was safe.

tail-wags3gifThe Tail Wags helmet cover does fit over my adult helmet, and I’m sure I would have gotten a  number of comments if I wore this out and about in our neighbourhood! I think for an adult the princess Tail Wags helmet cover is a little bit much,  but I would maybe wear something a little more subtle like the ladybug.  The Tail Wags cover also has a little slit in the back so the clips in back are accessible.

tail-wags1gifIf you have a child that is either hard to keep an eye on, doesn’t like to wear a helmet, or you just want them to look hip the Tail Wags helmet cover will be sure to make you, your child, and all the neighbourhood smile and admire the”funess” of this great Canadian product.  Any product that will make  my children safer, is something I will be willing to purchase, and support.  You can keep up with Tail Wags on their blog as well.

My 13 month old granddaughter would make a game out of slamming the bedroom door or closing the bathroom cabinets while her finger or fingers were in harms way. Poor thing ended up getting them caught a few times before I could get to her but now I believe the point is finally getting across to her.

I think some kids might hate safety belts, I know my daughter hates them but of course it’s a necessity!
