Slanket – Blanket with Arms – CLOSED

Do you have something in your home that everyone wants?  Before I received the Slanket, everyone in my home wanted to sit on the rocker recliner, now everyone wants to sit on the rocker recliner with the Slanket.  What is a Slanket?  Well, it is a fleece blanket with sleeves.  Sounds simple, it is pretty simple, but it is so comfortable, and so warm.

slanket1Gary Clegg created the Slanket while in university.  How many times have you been all cuddled under a blanket and had to pull your arm out from under the warmth to change the channel with the remote?  Greg had had enough of that experience, and cut a hole in a sleeping bag to change the channels.  Thanks to his Mom, a prototype was created, and then it manifested into what it is today.

The Slanket comes in 12 different colours, we received one in a deep red.  The Slanket is extremely soft, a generous size and just so comfortable. The holes in the sleeves are very large so anyone’s arms can fit into it.  The Slanket is also long enough to cover  my neck way past my toes.  The upper portion around my chest gets all bunched up  because I do not have a long torso, but what’s what makes this blanket so versatile, one size fits all.  If a larger person were to wear the Slanket there would not be as much bunching.

slanket2I actually wear the Slanket 2 ways, the way it was intended with the blanket covering the front of my body, or like a bathrobe as well.  Sometimes I like the extra warmth around my back and wrap the front of the blanket around myself (it’s big enough to do this).  Either way, it’s great to be able to have my hands free while still being all wrapped up and comfy cosy while changing the channel to the tv, or blogging!  Yes, I can wear the Slanket while typing on my laptop.  The sleeves are a little long, but once I get my hands in the right spot, they stay in place, and I am free to type away on my laptop keeping my body, and arms toasty warm.

slanket3My mother and husband both like the Slanket as well, and it fits both of them too.  My suggestion would be to get a few Slanket because if it’s anything like my house, everyone will want to use it.  This is even in the spring season, I can only imagine what it’s going to be like in the winter when it’s actually cold out. The Slanket also comes in children sizes as well.

The Slanket is designed to keep your entire body covered and cozy while you still retain the use of your hands. Simplistic and practical, its innovativeness opens up possibilities, but still can replace any normal blanket. Size: 60″W x 95″L

Slanket comes in children’s sizes as well. I’ll color code our Slankets so each as their own color. No fighting.

I learned that all blue Slankets will raise money for H2O AFRICA. Green, brown, and grey Slankets will help contribute to the NATURAL RESOURCES DEFENSE COUNCIL. The lavender, ruby wine, and apricot will accumulate funds for the BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION.
