Kushies – Safari Organic Long Johns set – CLOSED

I had an excellent opportunity to review a very cute raincoat by Kushies in the past, you can check out the review here. So when Kushies asked if I would like to review an item from their new organic line, I was very pleased to do so.  Their new organic line – called Safari, includes onesies, sleepers, bibs, hats and blankets.  All the items in the Safari line are made with 100% organic cotton interlock, and are nice soft colours with stripes and some cute safari animals.

I received the  Kushies Safari Organic Long johns set for review in pink – and chocolate brown.  Although, they are long johns, they are not heavy enough to be worn alone in the wintertime.  They are better for spring, summer and fall.  They are pretty thin, and very soft, and also super cute.  What makes this sleep set so cute is the stripes that are on the bum of the pants and the back of the shirt.  You can see a little bit of what I mean in the picture.  It almost looks like a cute version of a prison outfit.  I don’t mean this is a negative way at all, it really looks sweet with the stripes, especially because they are only in the bum section.  Speaking of the bum section, there is a generous amount of room for a diaper – and I cloth diaper.  The Kushies sleep set I received is in a size 12 months.  DD is almost 11 months now (where has the time gone), and they are a really good fit.  Not too snug and not too loose.  There is some stretch in the material as well, so these will continue to fit her for a long while.  On the shirt of the sleep set there 2 cute little birdies.  It looks like a Mommy bird, and a baby bird.  The outfit also did not have any significant shrinkage in the wash either.

The Kushies Safari Organic Long johns are cute and right now they are only $19.19 a great price for a 2 piece organic suit.  The items in the organic line are available in sizes newborn to 18 months and come in blue, pink, brown, and green.  Each item also comes with either the cute little bird, or a long necked giraffe.  Once you pick the outfit you like, you can match it with a little hat too.  Kushies also has the matching organic bed sheets.

Kushies has a huge assortment of babies, infants, and toddlers items.  I am in love with the raincoat I have received, but they also carry swimwear, including swim diapers – I don’t understand why anyone would buy little swimmers which are over $10 for 10, when you can buy one reusable swim diaper for $10, and use it over and over again.  Another great item that they carry, and I have seen many babies wear is their waterproof bib with sleeves – this is an excellent product (although I have not tested it out myself, I have many friends who have) and is it less than $10.
