Custom Creations – Personalized wooden name – CLOSED

by Mommy on July 8, 2009

custom-creations-logo

One of the very first items I reviewed for all of you was Custom Creations back in February, you can view the post here.  I was only doing 1 review a week at that time – who how quickly times have changed.  Times have also changed for Custom Creations, the first time I brought their fantastic precision cut and hand panted names, they were only on Facebook, well like many of us, they are expanding and now have their own website.

custom-creationsShannon MacQueen, of London, Ontario is the creative designer behind Custom Creations.  She does all the work herself and makes sure that her clients are going to be happy with their products.  Not only do the wooden children’s names really enhance a bedroom, they are such a fair price too.  You can get a scripted hand painted name for less than $10.  For my American readers, don’t forget this is Canadian pricing, so it’s even cheaper for you!

custom-creations1You can also get engraved signs from Custom Creations, for your house, cottage, workplace, store – or whenever else you may want a sign.  I will shortly be reviewing a Custom Creations sign, so stay tuned for another great review and giveaway from Custom Creations!

The great thing about Custom Creations is that you can customize your child’s name the way you want it.  You choose the name (obviously), the print, font, and design.  When you are done, you will have your child’s name just the way you want it.

Buy it: To purchase a Custom Creations name or engraved sign, visit them online

Giveaway: Custom Creations would like to offer a lucky My Wee View reader a Custom Creations name

To Enter: Visit Custom Creations, and make a comment back here about what your favourite choice is

I tinkered around with woodworking as a kid. My dad was a great woodworker and did everything. He made his own toy sailboat and stagecoach birdhouse designs..etc. I’d love to get into doing it though. Want to do some scroll saw work.

The last time I did any woodworking, I was in grade 8. I’m not so coordinated with the saw….It’s always better for me to design what I want, have my Dad cut it out, then either my mother or myself can paint it.

I have never tried woodworking. Although my cousin years ago had a sautering iron thing and I ended up dropping it on my leg & it left a scar for years! Never touched one again!

The only woodworking I’ve ever done was in 7th Grade Shop Class. We each made an XL 8.5″x1.”x1.5″ clothespin which served as a noteholder/memo clip/paperweight.
