Bébé au Lait – Hooded Towel – CLOSED

Now that DD is getting a little bit bigger and is super wiggly, it’s hard to get her all wrapped up after a tub bath. The hooded towel that I received from Bébé au Lait, couldn’t have come at a better time. The Bébé au Lait hooded towel comes in two sizes, infant and toddler. Alan, at Bébé au Lait suggest that we receive the toddler towel for DD as she is almost a year old now. I must first say that Alan has the best customer service that I have encountered so far. Alan is so so fast with email and is extremely friendly.

bebeaulait1gif The toddler Bébé au Lait hooded towel is actually a little bit smaller than the infant one, but has a very unique feature that helps to keep the towel on. The towel has a little magnet on the bottom section of the hood that keeps the hood stuck under the chin. The magnet works so well. Once the towel and hood are on, the magnet keeps the hood and the rest of the towel in place.

My husband found the towel a little bit small, but once I explained to him that the towel is meant for a toddler which would be walking around everywhere, he thought it was a brilliant idea. Once DD is walking on her own we will be able to wrap her in this towel (and it will stay on because of the magnet), and she will also be able to walk in the towel without falling over – a definite bonus. Have you ever seen little children wearing beach sized towels, and trying to walk and then run, and end up falling? Well, the toddler towels at Bébé au Lait are meant to fit a toddler and have your child’s best interest in mind.

bebeaulait2gif The Bébé au Lait toddler towel also has a little section for their arms to be wrapped up in, the top section of the towel is folded over which makes a little kid of pocket for little arms and hands to slip into. This is another feature which helps children keep their towels on. There is no need to wrap the towel around your child’s body and use the tuck in method, they will be able to just put their own hands inside the little pocketed section and wrap their own hands around their body and the towel will stay on.

So there you have it for function, now on to fashion. The hooded towel is of course fashionable – like all the products at Bébé au Lait. The towel that we received is a chocolate brown with a blue swirl pattern. This stylish fabric is placed all along the outside of the towel and the hood. So not only does the towel work great, but your child will look great as well.
