Environmentally friendly products are very popular right now. I know it is very important to take care of the environment, especially for the generations to come. I definitely see the importance of it now that I have my own child. Sometimes it’s very easy to be environmentally friendly, like buying reusable bags, cloth diapering, but then there are some things that just never seem to be environmentally friendly. One thing that I noticed is children’s toys. Yes, there are a few toys out there for children that are eco-friendly, but some of them are toys that children maybe wouldn’t see as fun.

green-toys2 I received the Tea Set from Green Toys. I could hardly believe the quality of the Tea Set when it arrived at my door. Myself nor my husband could believe this was made out of milk jugs. It looks just like a regular plastic Tea Set. A little bit thinner than some other sets I have touched, but not too much of a difference at all. The bright pink, purple green, and blue colours are perfect for a little girl. The cover stays on top of the tea pot, and the spoons stir a cup of tea just fine. It is just amazing that this cute set is made out of milk jugs, this is a very easy way for parents to save the environment for their children. Every little girl will end up with a tea set in their life, this is a very easy way to make a big impact on the earth.

green-toy32 Green Toys also has dump trucks, jumping ropes, sand play sets, gardening kits, and a recycling truck! I think the recycling truck is one of the smartest toys in their line. It just makes so much sense to start your children at a young age to learn about the environment and recycling. Here in Nova Scotia we have an amazing recycling program (the best in Canada), but there are many states and provinces that do not promote reduce, reuse and recycle, so we have to do it ourselves.

The items from Green Toys are things that parents would buy their kids anyways, it’s an easy choice to buy the environmentally friendly product over the commercialized factory product. I was super impressed with the quality from Green Toys, no one knew that the set was made from milk jugs, it looks and feels just like any regular toy. Your child wont see the difference, and neither will your friends.
