Baby Star – Review & Giveaway & Discount Code

Baby Star is an online boutique that offers many stylish choices in baby clothing, bibs, diaper bags, clutches, and blankets, they also carry an organic line.  What I really like about Baby Star is that you can pick the style of clothing that you like, and then pick your favourite fabric.  There are about 10 – 15 modern fabric choices for each item and most clothing items are available from sizes 3 months – 24 months.

I received the cutest little rick rack dress from  Baby Star in the Daisy Chain pattern.  This cute little Baby Star dress really impressed me.  The dress is a nice one piece a-line dress, and is double lined with a pink cotton fabric underneath. The dress has a little pocket in the front and closes with a zipper in the back.  The dress also has a little pink wave bias  that runs along the bottom of the dress, the neck, and the arm pits.  This little detail really makes the dress look fabulous.  The dress also comes with a matching pair of bloomers, which is super cute when DD is crawling around.

This  Baby Star dress is darling, and DD looks spectacular in it.  It’s a 12 month dress and it fits her well now and she is 9 1/2 months old.  The bloomers are a little puffy, but cover her cloth diapers well.  She was feed carrots in this dress and unfortunately a bib was forgotten (notice the passive voice in that sentence), and carrots got on the front of her dress.  I was pretty upset, because this is one of my favourite outfits for her.  I was so surprised that the carrots came out, it took 2 washes, but the stain was barely visible (if visible at all – I think I made up seeing the stain in my head, cause no one else could see anything).

Since it’s not quite summer here in Nova Scotia, I pair the  Baby Star dress with a  long sleeve onesie, and a pair of little white pants.  The nice bright pinks, oranges and dark purples will look fantastic as a winter dress (because its lined it has an extra layer for warmth), or in the summer it will be nice and cool and fashionable without anything underneath – besides the bloomers.  I recently put this outfit on DD for a party, and she received the most amount of comments to date on an outfit (and believe me, when I dress her up, I get a lot of comments).  Everyone loved her Rick Rack Daisy Chain  Baby Star dress.

Baby Star has a great line of products, and if there is one fabric that you just can’t get enough of, you can purchase a number of matching items in that same pattern.  You can get everything in the same pattern from a diaper bag, to burp cloths to blankets.  How stylish would you and baby look all matching?  I love to match with DD.
