Little Chickie Wear specializes in 100% organic onesies, shirts and hats for children. Gwen is the creative designer behind Little Chickie Wear. When Gwen’s daughter, Elizabeth, was young, she decided to make eco-friendly clothing for her, with some fun and creative designs.
Little Chickie Wear‘s most popular onesie is titled What’s inside me. This was inspired by Gwen while watching her daughter sleep one day, she wondered what was inside her daughter. She came up with a little poem, and put it on a shirt – it is now one of Little Chickie Wears best sellers!
The poem reads:

Isn’t this sweet? I think Gwen has really captured what children have in their hearts, they are so young, innocent and free!
Little Chickie Wear designs are also inspired by Japanese art after Gwen visited Japan in 1988. Little Chickie Wear uses Japanese paper and paint when creating cards and textiles. One of my favourite designs by Little Chickie Wear has to be the Pretty in Pink piggy. The print is not over the top girly, and has a really nice pattern inside the pig that is not just a plain pink. I really love this design, it would look fabulous on any little girl.
