imag-inations

I always like to have cute return mailing addresses labels, so before I received my Photo Return Address Labels from Imag-inations, I had made my own return labels.  They were  cute, but by no means were they professional.  They were just cartoon character faces of our family, me, my husband, DD (our daughter) and our dog Cammy, with our names underneath.  They were cute enough, I printed them on our printer at home, using those sticky labels you can buy at Staples.  I think you get the picture, I tried, but it was nothing that fantastic.

When I saw the work that was done by Imag-inations, it really put my attempt to be creative in perspective. The labels ( Birth Announcements Invitations, Thank You cards, among many other type of cards) look fantastic!  These are so classy, and are in all the most up to date patterns.  I decided on getting some Photo Return Address
Labels, because I knew these would blow the ones I had made away!  Some people saved my little address label I had made, so I was curious to see how people would react to this very impressive label.

imag-inations3The process was easy, the hardest part was finding my favourite address label template.  With the help of my mom, we decided on the very first one (it’s probably the most popular).  It’s called Pink and Brown I Return Address Labels, are any of you surprised I went with this option?  I didn’t think so!  I emailed a few images of DD to Jen Dario the creative designer behind Imag-inations along with my mailing address so she could put it on the label, and she emailed back a few proofs for me to choose from.  I thought the black and white picture of DD looked best, so I picked that one.

I received my package in the mail with 50Photo Return Address Labels with DD’s picture on it.  The labels are so nice and bright, if you are looking for something plain that isn’t going to stand out, this is not the label for you!  These really stand out, especially on a crisp white envelope.  The label is also a decent size – the same as a business card - 2 x 3.5″.  It takes up the top left hand side of the envelope.  In one case, I wrote the receiver address too close to the top of the envelope and the label would have covered the receivers name.  So, I had to put the return address on the back of the envelope (which actually looks fantastic, and I will start doing this with all my letters).  However, if you want to put the Photo Return Address Labels on the front of your envelope, just make sure to write the receives name lower on the envelope.

Have you ever had someone comment on your return address label before?  Well, with these you are sure to get comments.  I have received comments about them from people that I sent letters to!  And yes, they have saved these too, and put them on their fridge.  How neat is it to go to someones house and see your address label on their fridge?  I guess there will now be no excuse for them to forget your address.  I hate searching for addresses when I have to send people things, if everyone had a label like this one by Imag-inations, I would save it, and never have to search the Internet, or call for their address.  So really, I’m just being courteous to all the people that send me letters by giving them this superb address label!  Your Welcome everyone.

I am very careful who I send these labels too, because I only have 50.  So they are only used for special people and special occasions.  I don’t send this label to my insurance company (they get the old ones I made).  I send them to my family and close friends, cause they are worth it.  Many family members want us to send pictures of DD as well, so this is a super great way to send an extra little picture since she’s right on the label.  Grandparents (and great grandparents) can really appreciate that.

If you are looking for some special labels, Photo Birth Announcements , Birthday Invitations, Baptism InvitationsHoliday Photo Cards -you name it, Imag-inations has a wide range of options available.  The patterns and templates are all really nice and very modern so there is sure to be something for everyone to pick from.  The super cute labels I received are $20.  Imag-inations is having a 10% off sale right now!  Code is W2009 at the checkout!
