Atterdag Kids – Review & Giveaway – Closed

Atterdag Kids started as a boutique just outside of Santa Barbara in 2005, after having a successful first year, they decided to take their business online. Atterdag Kids specializes in beautiful clothing and accessories for babies, toddlers and children, many items are available from sizes 0 – 3 months to size 12. Their online store carries many designer brand named children clothing such as Baby Lulu (which I recently featured and love), Pediped (which I will be reviewing shortly), and Kissy Kissy which I had the pleasure of reviewing for Atterdag Kids.

atterdag-kids1 The beautiful Kissy Kissy Mini Floral Print dress with smocking, comes complete with a matching pair of bloomers. The dress is a nice light cotton and is made in Peru. There are two things that really struck me as special about this cute little dress. The first is that the smocking looks like it has been done by hand. Each individual little pinch along the empire waist looks as if it has been sewn by hand to perfection as well as the embroidery, although the whole dress is not hand made, it does have some aspects like the embroidery that are hand made.. This dress is so elegant, and so perfect it really impressed me. The second thing that really impressed me is that the dress and the bloomers each had a different little heart sticker that said it was inspected by a different persons id number. I really thought this was something that puts Kissy Kissy products far above others, because someones name is tagged to each item to say that it meets the Kissy Kissy standards. Much like this blog, I know that each review has my name and credibility tied to it.

002 This dress from Atterdag Kids with it’s cute little ruffle bias around the neck and shoulder straps really looks adorable on DD. I received the 12 month dress and DD is 9 months right now. The dress is a little bit long on her at this moment, but will fit her perfect in the summer season (which is right around the corner). The little bloomers fit her perfect right now, but please remember that I do use cloth diapers which are bulkier than disposables. The dress is very soft, and flows really nice. I have washed the dress and it had some regular shrinking. The smocking did not come undone, and looks as good as the first day we received the dress.

I was really really impressed by the Kissy Kissy dress we received from Atterdag Kids. The dress is to die for, and the fine attention to detail is obvious in the smocking, the ruffled bias and the quality control heart stickers. Kissy Kissy clothing are top notch. You will be very very pleased with the perfection and elegance of the Kissy Kissy products.
