BabyKakesink! Review & Giveaway – CLOSED

As a mother to a little girl, I always love to have her dressed up in the cutest little outfits.  She is always in dresses, and cute tops and pants.  The onesie that I received from BabyKakesink blows all of my daughters cute dresses right out of the water. This onesie is by far my favourite outfit.  How is it possible that a single onesie is the cutest outfit my daughter can own?  By the pure elegance, personalization and uniqueness of the item.  I have never – ever seen a onesie be so beautiful!

Catherine Stephens is the mother of two girls, and like most of us with little princesses we want them to always look their best and dress them up.  Catherine was making cute outfits and matching bows for her two daughter (just like her mother did years before her – so it came naturally to her).  What Catherine came up with is a masterpiece in itself!

The adorable onesie that I received from BabyKakesink is a dark chocolate brown with a big “G” written on the front in pink, and in behind her name DD is spelled out in white. But here is the great part, there is a fantastic thick ribbon across the front torso in pink with brown dots, and a bow right in the middle that tops off the onesies look.  Isn’t that just so incredible?  But wait, there’s more, the bow actually attaches to the onesie by a clip so as DD gets older she can wear the bow in her hair.  You can also purchase matching hair bows to finish off the amazing outfit. I think this is just the greatest idea and best thing on the market right now.   My only wish would be that these come in long sleeve because in Canada it can be cold in the wintertime, and for DD to wear this in the winter, I have to put a long sleeve onesie underneath.  (They should be adding longsleeve oneies shortly!!)

Now onto function – I received a 6 – 12 month onesie, but am now wishing I went with a 12 – 18 month one as she is 8 months and will soon be growing out of this one.  It fits perfectly fine right now, and I cloth diaper so DD’s bum is a little bit bigger than other babies her age.  The onesie did not shrink in the wash, I always make sure to wash in cold water as I want this to last as long as possible.  The little bow unclips from the onesie very easily and I remove it before putting the onesie into the wash.

This onesie is the first thing that I put on DD straight out of the drier and I have even made special loads of laundry just to get this onesie clean so she can wear it to a special outing.  DD receives the most wonderful compliments in the onesie, which looks the absolute best in a simple pair of jeans!  She receives more compliments in her BabyKakesink onesie then she does in some of her valour dresses.  It is the pure individual, original and personalization that makes this outfit stand out from the rest.  No other child around has something as beautiful as my little DD.  This makes both her and I feel very special.  I can not go anywhere without someone stopping to ask me where I got this adorable onesie!
